Make every email match your brand and speak in your own voice. Until now, all system emails in Bookingbird were static and predefined. With the new Email Configuration feature, you can fully customize each email type – from order confirmations to booking cancellations and more. Define the content, style, and tone to ensure every message feels personal and on-brand. 1 1 25

Automatically generate invoices for manually created bookings

Currently, invoices are only generated automatically when a booking is made through the public booking page. Bookings created manually in the dashboard do not trigger automatic invoice creation, requiring users to create invoices manually afterward. Goal: Ensure that invoices are also automatically generated for manually created bookings to align the workflow with regular (public) bookings and reduce manual effort.

Mobile Optimization

Give your customers and team a smooth, app-like experience on any smartphone. Bookingbird is already responsive, but not yet fully optimized for mobile use. With this update, layouts, navigation, and inputs will be adapted specifically for smaller screens. Dropdowns, buttons, and forms become touch-friendly, while overall usability is streamlined for quick actions on the go. 1 1 20

Microsoft Outlook & Teams Integration

Keep bookings in perfect sync with Outlook and Teams. Bookings made in Bookingbird appear instantly in Microsoft Outlook calendars, and any updates in Outlook (time, invites, availability) sync back to Bookingbird. Users can select meeting rooms directly in Outlook while seeing live availability. Since Outlook and Teams calendars are already connected, all meetings and bookings show up seamlessly in both tools—reducing manual work and avoiding conflicts.

Google Calendar Two-Way Sync

Keep schedules perfectly aligned—changes in Google or Bookingbird stay in sync automatically. We’re upgrading the current integration to full two-way sync. Bookings created, updated, or canceled in Bookingbird will appear in Google Calendar—and edits in Google (time, title, notes) will update the booking in Bookingbird. Choose which calendars to sync per user or resource, and prevent double bookings with smarter conflict handling. 1 1 15

Standardized Finance Exports

Export your financial data in ready-to-use formats for accounting systems. Bookingbird will provide standardized export options for Austria (BMD, RZL) and Germany (DATEV). Each export includes all required details like invoice headers, tax types, document types (incoming, outgoing, cash receipt), revenue groups, and accounts. Debit/credit bookings are structured correctly, making it easy to hand over the files directly to your accountant or import them into your finance software. 1 1 70

Event Ticket Stages Improvements

Automate your ticket sales with smart stages like Early Bird, Regular, and Last Minute. Until now, different ticket types had to be activated manually. With ticket stages, you can set rules that unlock the next phase automatically – for example, “Early Bird” tickets from Jan 1 to Jan 2 or until 50 tickets are sold, then switch to the next stage. This makes managing event ticketing effortless and keeps sales flowing smoothly. 1 1 20

Configure services and resources with more clarity and confidence. To make setup easier, a new health check guides you through the configuration of booking services and resources. Just like in Webflow, you’ll see helpful messages and warnings when you publish, so potential issues can be spotted right away. Make booking more visual and intuitive by letting users pick their spot directly on a map. Whether it’s event halls, offices, or meeting rooms – spaces can be fully digitalized and displayed as interactive maps. Customers can book directly on the map, while admins get a powerful configurator to create detailed floor plans with all the features you’d expect from a room planner. 40

Define exactly what information matters for each type of resource. With Resource Types, you can create custom structures for different kinds of resources. For example, a resource type “Employee” could include fields like name and position, while a resource type “Ski” might include brand and binding type.
